I’m thrilled to have been invited to be one of the twelve teachers on Fodder School 3 - a year-long online mixed media art course, starting in October 2023.

If you’re not familiar with the term “Collage Fodder “ it simply means anything and everything that an artist could use to create mixed media and collage art. From found objects to vintage ephemera to hand painted collage papers and fabrics, they all count as creative fodder for collaging and making.

Each artist will offer a pair of classes in their teaching month - working around a particular technique or project. First of all, we will Make Fodder, and then in the second part, we’ll show different ways to Use Fodder we’ve created. Here are a couple of glimpses at what we’ll be creating in my teaching month…

More than 18,000 people worldwide played along with the Fodder Challenge in July this year, getting a taster of the twelve teachers over the course of twelve days. Here’s just a little look at some of the things I made, inspired by the other teachers’ classes… it was a real boost to my creativity.
